Alpha UV System was founded by an IIT Patna graduate. Our engineering team of IIT Patna alumni designs every UV disinfection system from first principles. In a market full of traders and catalogue assemblers, we calculate, validate, and document.

The Problem
Most UV system suppliers in India are traders. They select components from catalogues, assemble them in workshops, and hand you a product datasheet as documentation. When a CDSCO auditor asks how the UV dose was calculated, or when your STP effluent fails coliform targets despite the system running – there is no engineering analysis to answer with.
What IIT Engineering Means
We calculate the required UV dose (mJ/cm²) from your actual water quality parameters – turbidity, UV transmittance (UVT), and target log reduction. Not a catalogue lookup. Not a rule-of-thumb estimate.
Chamber sizing accounts for actual flow velocity, turbulence factors, and lamp placement geometry. Eliminates dead zones and short-circuiting that silently reduce UV dose delivery.
Philips UV-C lamps are selected based on measured UV transmittance of your specific water. High-output UV-C lamps for high-turbidity wastewater. Low-pressure for crystal-clear drinking water.
Schedule M, CPCB, FSSAI, WHO GMP – our documentation is written by engineers who understand what auditors are actually checking for. Not template-copied filler.
The Team
Alpha UV System was founded by an IIT Patna graduate and built with professionals who have worked at large Indian enterprises — including TCS, Moserbear, and Sahara group. Our 35+ member team combines IIT-level engineering rigour with deep operational experience from India's technology and manufacturing sectors.

Engineering rigour meets industry experience
Our IIT Patna engineering foundation gives us the ability to calculate UV dose from first principles, model reactor hydraulics, and produce documentation that satisfies CDSCO, FSSAI, and WHO GMP auditors. Our industry veterans from TCS, Moserbear, and Sahara bring project management, quality systems, and large-scale manufacturing discipline that a typical UV startup cannot match.
Where It Shows
Pharmaceutical / WFI
Our Schedule M documentation packages are prepared by engineers who have read the actual CDSCO guidelines – not copied from a template. We can support CDSCO factory inspections.
STP / ETP Plants
We calculate CPCB-compliant UV doses from your measured effluent quality – not assumed values from a specification sheet. Coliform reduction to <10 MPN/100 ml is the engineering target, not the marketing claim.
Municipal Water
Open-channel UV system hydraulics require genuine fluid mechanics knowledge. Our IIT Patna mechanical engineering background makes this routine work – not a project risk.
Export Markets
International buyers from Israel to Kenya recognise IIT as a quality signal. Our systems ship with engineering documentation that satisfies global import standards.
